Yesterday, I had several tax appointments in the northern part of the state, so Charlie and I drove to Ogden Friday night and stayed in a hotel. From our window we could see the "new" Ogden Temple.
The "old" Ogden Temple was a twin to the Provo Temple. It looked like this:
The new temple isn't completed yet. It is anticipated that it will be completed sometime the latter half of this year. In traveling from Provo to Logan, we passed 9 temples - Provo, American Fork, Draper, So. Jordan, Oquirrh Mountain, Salt Lake, Bountiful, Ogden, and Logan. We are seeing the prophecy fulfilled which stated that one day "temples would dot the earth". How grateful we are that we live so close to a Temple of the Lord and that we have the opportunity to attend often.
